We are comparing two Velodyne LiDAR units and noticed differences in behavior and capture consistency. We suspect the two sensors may not be running the same firmware version.
Where can we download the official Velodyne firmware updates and compatibility files?
We are specifically looking for the official source for VLP-32C firmware and version validation instructions.
Any help with the proper firmware update procedure and compatibility checks would be appreciated.
The VLP-32C firmware is not available in a download area because of constraints of some firmware upgrades that would require factory calibration to meet specifications.

Include the sensor serial numbers and the current firmware revision (available on the sensor web page). If the capture behaviors seem very significant, you may want include a few seconds of PCAP data from each sensor to confirm if there’s an issue un-related to firmware.
