Hi @adacoe_5505,

Can you let us know what operating system you are on?
It looks like the UDP Destination Address is set to an IPv6 address.
In general, Ouster Studio Desktop performs the best when the UDP Destination address is set to an IPv4 address. It tries to default to an IPv4 address when possible.

Troubleshooting advice:

  • Try pinging to hostname to see if it resolves
    • This should resolve to an IPv4 address (digits only + dots)
      • IPv6 address uses colons and allows letters
    • If it’s resolving to an IPv6 address, try changing the settings to be only IPv4
  • Check your firewall rules
    • On Windows: You may need to add “allow” rules in Windows Defender for the application.
    • On macOS: We have observed that content filters, such as Crowdstrike Falcon, can interfere with link-local name resolution, which may disrupt connectivity.
  • If Ouster Studio Desktop previously visualized, try resetting the NIC settings
