In what format does the Veolodyne Puck lidar data come out?
The VLP packet format is documented in the user manual located here: Velodyne Downloads | Ouster
There are a large number of existing open source projects that have already implemented velodyne drivers if you would like to avoid writing your own code.
Feel free to contact Ouster’s support if you are a customer and we may be able to provide you with Velodyne driver code.
