What does "ZONE16" mean in RNG19_RFL8_SIG16_NIR16_ZONE16 return profile?

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed some new return profiles on Ouster Studio:

RNG19_RFL8_SIG16_NIR16_ZONE16

RNG15_RFL8_NIR8_ZONE16

I was wondering what the ZONE16 part stands for in these profiles. I couldn’t find any documentation about it, so I was hoping someone could clarify or point me to the relevant docs.

Any hints or documentation would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Please refer to the doc Ouster SDK Zone Monitor — Ouster Sensor SDK 0.16.1 documentation which covers the meaning of the ZONE field. To activate this feature you will need to upload 3d meshes that define the zones and enable the zone packets on the sensors.
