# Request further information about the Ouster CLI Slam Algorithm?

What does the SLAM algorithm consist of? And where can I read up on it?

Hi @gia_schillberg ,

The Ouster CLI SLAM alogrithm is an implementation of [KISS-ICP](https://arxiv.org/abs/2209.15397) available on [arVix.org](https://arxiv.org/abs/2209.15397).

Here is the [kiss-icp python package](https://github.com/PRBonn/kiss-icp) implementation which Ouster leverages.
